Blue Shell S.A. is a company dedicated to the elaboration of Frozen Mollusks (Mytilus Chilensis, Tawera gayi, …) in different presentations. As a company we have assumed an unrestricted commitment to the quality and safety of our products, while respecting the environment, and the surrounding communities where we operate. We make every effort to reduce the environmental impact, that could be derived, from the industrial activities that the company carries out. Our commitments are confirmed through the different certifications that place our plant within the highest international standards, demonstrating our commitment to the continuous improvement of our processes and products.  Additionally, our mollusk farms are not land based. They are in the open waters of the Chilean coast; adding a positive impact to the already pristine water by the our mussels natural filtration. We are unique in that we have our own pier enhancing the safety of our workers and limiting the time and resulting trauma when mussels are out of water. We transport them a short distance from our pier to our onsite plant via trucks with water tanks enabling the mussels to remain alive, and fresh.
